This is my topic
“I told him my sister had been dating a nigger and every time he put his filthy black hands on her pure white body it made me cringe, and I wanted to do something to stop those things from happening.” In the 1970s. Colorado Springs was a very white known place. Ron Stallworth was the first black detective in Colorado Springs. Ron was born in Chicago in 1953. He was raised in El Paso Texas after the family was moved there. Graduates from Austin high school in 1971. He wanted to be an undercover agent. He committed himself to do exactly that, and now is known to infiltrate one of the biggest racial klans ever excited, the Ku Klux Klan. While Stallworth responded to a local ad from the KKK, never imagined would be contacted my one of the most racist men in the local area, who hated blacks, Jews, Mexicans and Asians. He used one of his colleagues a white man to do the appearances for him. David Duke who was the grand wizard of the KKK at the time processed Ron’s application for the KKK sent it to him, which he framed and kept for many years. Infiltrating the KKK was one of his biggest assignments. He never spoke about for years to come. In 2006 he finally spoke about his biggest undercover case in his life. In that interview he disclosed that active members of the U.S military were members of the KKK at that time. In 2014 he published the book Black Klansman. I want to write about Stallworth not just because he was raised here in El Paso, but because the way he did his investigation. The approach he took to it.
